Tent structures for jumping Zangersheide

Challenge

At the end of September, Zangersheide Domain in Lanaken traditionally becomes the beating heart of the showjumping world. The international showjumping community gathers there for the FEI World Championships for Young Horses, the Belgian Senior Showjumping Championship, a competition for stallions, and an auction of top-quality foals and horses.

For this prestigious event, the organisation requires around 10,000 m² of high-quality tent structures.

This year, the event celebrated its 30th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the organisers wanted to further enhance the visitor and VIP experience, with extra attention to branding, appearance, and smoother visitor flows.

Solution

As a trusted partner for the seventh consecutive edition, Veldeman provided the complete temporary infrastructure for this showjumping event and proactively contributed at every level.

We developed a total solution that both highlighted the anniversary and strengthened the event’s logistical organisation.

• Smart site layout: By actively contributing to the positioning of the tent structures, we optimised both visitor flow and the functional layout of the domain.

• Enhanced branding: With personalised flag lines on the pagoda tents and branding on the VIP tent, we created a uniform look and feel.

• High-quality infrastructure: We supplied various pagoda tents for catering, an extra-high arched hall as a central high-end bar, a double-decker tent for riders and jury, and several aluminium halls for exhibitors, kitchen, restaurant and crew.

• Comfort & finishing: Our total solution also included carpet, lining, terrace flooring and VIP toilets. The meticulous finishing of all structures ensured a premium experience for visitors and participants.

With this combination of technical expertise, aesthetic finishing and proactive collaboration, we once again delivered an impressive event infrastructure, perfectly suited for an anniversary edition that truly lived up to its prestige.
