Temporary infrastructure for the opening of Indaver’s Plastics2Chemicals facility
Challenge
For the official opening of the brand-new Plastics2Chemicals (P2C) installation in Antwerp, Indaver, in collaboration with Triple Tree Event Agency, wanted to organize a memorable event. The day was designed to put circularity literally and figuratively in the spotlight, featuring engaging keynotes, an inspiring panel discussion, guided tours, and a festive evening capped off with an impressive drone show. The challenge? Transforming an industrial site into a stylish, comfortable, and safe event location, while managing logistic challenges and a tight schedule.
Solution
Veldeman provided the complete temporary infrastructure for the opening, perfectly aligned with the character of the event: innovative, sustainable, and high-quality. The centerpiece was a 30x40m TFS structure, combining transparent and silver-black fabrics that allowed light and openness during the day and created a striking contrast in the evening. Terrace floors with elegant stainless-steel railings provided a stylish outdoor area for guests to network and enjoy the surroundings. Multiple aluminum halls were installed for kitchens, meeting rooms, and toilet facilities. Additionally, we provided lining, heating, and safety provisions to ensure that guests could enjoy this milestone in the transition to a circular future in complete comfort.
