Temporary infrastructure Brussels Stephex Masters

Challenge

The Brussels Stephex Masters is one of the most prestigious jumping events in the world. This five-day event uniquely combines top-level sport, luxury, and entertainment in an atmospheric setting. It is a highlight on the international equestrian calendar and is renowned for its flawless organization, spectacular ambiance, and unparalleled hospitality.

During the tenth edition of the Brussels Stephex Masters, the Stephex Stables in Wolvertem hosted 300 riders, 839 horses, 42 nationalities, and more than 40,000 visitors. For this international top event, Veldeman provided the complete temporary infrastructure.

Solution

As a proud partner of the Brussels Stephex Masters, Veldeman, together with Tentmoment, built over 10,000 m² of temporary tent structures. For the VIP lounges and hospitality areas, we installed an impressive 170-meter-long aluminum hall, connected to a 100-meter-long Skyline two-storey tent structure. From this VIP space, guests were able to enjoy a unique experience from the front row.

In addition, we installed a public restaurant, exhibitor village, kitchen tents, bar tents, restroom facilities, spaces for offices, press, crew, and storage. This was a technical feat, where we managed height differences of up to 6.5 meters using an understructure system.

Veldeman also provided the complete interior decoration of the tent structures, including carpets, lining, banners, and wooden finishes.

This project is characterized by a particularly high level of finishing, extensive customization, and some project-specific developments. And this is exactly what Veldeman excels at! Examples include custom-made wooden balustrades with cross details and a wedge-shaped module to create a corner in the 170-meter-long aluminum hall. These kinds of innovative solutions highlight our expertise in delivering tailor-made, high-quality temporary accommodations for top events.
