Temporary accommodation InterClassics Days of Elegance
Challenge
This year for the first time, MECC Maastricht organised ‘InterClassics Days of Elegance’. This new two-day event took place against the unique green backdrop of Chateau St. Gerlach in Valkenburg and is set to become the most luxurious car event in the Netherlands. The most exclusive classic cars were presented and judged. The owners of classic cars and modern supercars were able to participate in a sporty rally and beautiful luxurious lifestyle products were offered in the estate’s splendid gardens. MECC Maastricht asked Veldeman to provide the temporary accommodation for this unique event.
Solution
We erected 45 pagoda tents that were used for the trade stands of cars and lifestyle products, from jacuzzis and jewellery to exclusive beds and outdoor furniture. An alu hall was used as the VIP tent and an arched hall as the judges’ tent. The arched hall was equipped with two safe, reinforced access ramps. The champagne bar was accommodated in a stretch tent. We also provided 10 open-air floor platforms, painted in white, on which unique cars were presented. Our total solution for this project also included the upholstery, lighting, carpet tiles and Bankirai terrace tiles. The organisation can look back with satisfaction on a successful first edition.
