Complete event infrastructure across four locations for Zoute Grand Prix
Challenge
What began in 2010 as a bold initiative centred on classic cars has grown into Zoute Grand Prix Car Week: a leading five-day public event bringing together exceptional cars, art and lifestyle in Knokke-Heist.
The 2026 edition spanned four locations, each with its own character and purpose. From the latest models by premium automotive brands and prestigious car auctions to concours d’élégance, rallies and an adventurous 4×4 experience, each site contributes to a unique overall experience.
This diversity places high demands on temporary event infrastructure. Every edition must raise the bar with innovative structures, a personalised look and feel, and flawless logistical coordination. Each location also requires a tailor-made solution, adapted to its specific purpose and surroundings.
A demanding challenge that Veldeman Group once again took on with great enthusiasm this year, together with Tentmoment and Maessen Tentsupply.
Solution
Veldeman Group’s event structures brought the setting for this exclusive event to life.
On the seafront promenade near Albert Square, the Gallery by EY took shape with two impressive TFS structures measuring 40 x 85 metres each. The front façade featured a customised black-and-white striped design, while transparent fabric walls at the rear offered a view of the sea. Three aluminium halls measuring 10 x 55 metres, 25 x 25 metres and 5 x 10 metres served as the entrance, kitchen and crew tents. In addition to being a central meeting point, the Gallery served as the start and finish location for the rallies and showcased inside exceptional cars and the latest models.
Opposite the iconic Grand Casino, we built The Marquee, featuring two Arcada arched halls measuring 25 x 75 metres each, with a 10 x 70-metre alu hall between them. Visitors could admire exceptional collector cars here, while the prestigious Zoute Sale by Bonhams Cars took place at this venue.
For the 4×4 Village by MAZU on the beach in Heist, Maessen Tentsupply installed a 10 x 65-metre stretch tent, two alu halls measuring 10 x 10 metres and one alu hall measuring 5 x 10 metres. The stretch tent’s sand-coloured fabric blended seamlessly with the site’s outdoor atmosphere, where off-road vehicles, their capabilities and the 4×4 experience took centre stage.
At the Approach Golf grounds, Tentmoment was responsible for the infrastructure of the Green Grounds. This location hosted the Zoute Concours Auction by Broad Arrow and the Zoute Concours d’Élégance by ING Private Banking. Four aluminium halls measuring 20 x 55 metres, 5 x 20 metres, 10 x 15 metres and 10 x 10 metres provided the setting.
An event of this scale requires more than impressive event structures alone. Meticulous preparation, careful planning and seamless coordination are essential. As a group, Veldeman, Tentmoment and Maessen Tentsupply combined their expertise to deliver the right infrastructure at every location. The result: an outstandingly successful Zoute Grand Prix Car Week 2026!
