Veldeman supplies the largest temporary event structure in South America

Punta del Este, one of the most popular resort towns in Uruguay, has become a hub not only for vacationers attracted to its beautiful beaches, but also for partygoers because of its vibrant nightlife. At this glamorous hotspot the largest temporary event structure in South America has been installed for the Open Park season in the El Placer area: a Veldeman TFS tent structure of 40m wide and 80m long.

From December 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024 – summer season in the southern hemisphere – all kinds of music events, festivals and shows will be organised in this temporary event venue. Afterwards, the structure will also be used for corporate events.

An association of local producers purchased the structure from Veldeman. They chose the TFS because of its enormous interior height, unique arch shape, high roof load, meticulous finish and striking taut roof fabrics – black on the inside and silver on the outside. These features not only make the TFS one of a kind but also offer numerous possibilities for furnishing and audiovisual techniques.
