Temporary storage unit Wybo
Challenge
Due to a peak in demand, logistics service provider Wybo Transport, headquartered in Poperinge, required additional short-term storage space for 1 year at its branch in Godewaersvelde (France). The company’s preference lay in a temporary storage hall at its own site, to accordingly save on handling and transportation costs.
Solution
Veldeman came up with a fast, flexible solution with the construction of a temporary 4,000 m² storage hall. To acquire extra large volume, a raised alu hall was opted for, with a side height of 3.8 m. To facilitate easy through-flow, the temporary storage hall came equipped with 4 sliding doors measuring 5m wide by 4m high.
