Temporary accommodations
Challenge
Because of the large influx of asylum seekers there was a need for temporary accommodations. The challenge was to quickly provide suitable centres which could accommodate 300 to 500 people each.
Solution
On various locations Veldeman built a complete centre for asylum seekers, consisting of bedrooms and living rooms, dining areas, fully equipped kitchens, relaxation areas, reception and classrooms. In addition, Veldeman provided the necessary technical installations such as electricity, heating, cooling, water supply and drainage, fire detection and mobile internet. These ready-made, temporary accommodations were realised in less than three weeks.
