Temporary accommodation for the petrochemical industry: when safety is a priority
Are you active in the petrochemical sector and looking for temporary accommodation? There are many benefits to fabric structure solutions. However, if you are looking for more than just surface area, and safety is your priority, you’ll be glad to know that our structures and methods meet the most stringent and complex safety requirements. We would like to explain this in a bit more detail.
Veldeman is VCA** certified*, which means that all our procedures have been extensively analysed and approved. As a result, we have compiled our own manual, where every aspect, such as task risk analysis, is written down in detail.
Toolbox Meetings
However, it is also important that we put all this theory into practice, which is why working on safety and awareness is one of our daily routines. For example, we regularly organise VCA Toolbox Meetings on our sites. What can we handle differently? How can we raise the bar in terms of safety? These are just a few of the questions we ask during our Toolbox Meetings.
It allows us to raise awareness among both our own employees and subcontractors on a whole range of aspects, such as safety nets, working safely with machinery, or correctly installing a crane.
HSE project plan
Our employees also work behind the scenes, according to the highest safety requirements. After all, working safely requires proper preparation: following registration procedures, arranging safety passports, drawing up a HSE project plan**, etc. Our people know how to deal with these issues. We have already acquired a lot of experience in building temporary accommodation structures for petrochemical companies, such as catering tents, training areas, changing rooms, and so on.
Not every tent builder is in a position to compete in this complex market. At Veldeman, on the other hand, safety is in our DNA, just like it is in yours, and we understand its importance.
