Covered workshop Carglass
Challenge
Carglass contacted Veldeman for a solution to be able to continue serving customers during renovation work to the branch in Wilrijk. The objective was to build 8 workshops with an adjoining office space, waiting room with sanitary facilities and kitchenette for a period of 6 months.
Solution
Veldeman built a heightened alu hall on the car park of the Carglass branch, with a large electric rolling gate for efficient access by cars and trucks. Three units of 3 m by 6 m were linked to this covered workshop, which served as office and waiting area. Lighting, emergency lighting and heating were provided in order to be able to comfortably work.
