Cover for multisports field Herstal en Vottem
Challenge
In order to give the sporting youth the chance to remain active throughout the year, the cities of Herstal and Vottem wanted to cover a multisports field.
Solution
Veldeman designed a new cover with a roof shape identical to the fence around the sports field. This provides an aesthetically pleasing result. The side walls are open up to a height of 2.5 m, so the site can also be used in warm temperatures. The covering of the multisports field has proven to be a huge success, as the occupancy rate is extremely high.
