On 8-9 July the head of states or government of the BRICS member states – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – gathered in the Russian city of Ufa. Veldeman provided the temporary accommodation for this summit.

Veldeman supplied 5.500 m² of tents, which were used as meeting rooms, press rooms, restaurant, exhibition space, storage and access control. 18 trucks transported the material to Russia during 2 weeks. The assembly team needed three weeks to build up the infrastructure and two weeks to dismantle everything. The tents were customized with stickers.

The BRICS summit was the third summit accommodated by Veldeman. Veldeman previously provided the temporary infrastructure for the G8 in 2006 and the G20 in 2013, both in St. Petersburg. Top-quality products, a high degree of finishing and reliability were the decisive factors in the choice of the Belgium-based partner, Veldeman.
