How did we do it?

Challenge

Carglass contacted Veldeman for a solution to be able to continue serving customers during renovation work to the branch in Wilrijk. The objective was to cover 8 workshops with an adjoining office space, waiting room with sanitary facilities and kitchenette for a period of 6 months.

Solution

Veldeman built a heightened alu hall on the car park of the Carglass branch, with a large electric rolling gate for efficient access by cars and trucks. Three units of 3 m by 6 m were linked to this covered workshop, which served as office and waiting area. Cover the workplace? Lighting, emergency lighting and heating were provided in order to be able to comfortably work in the covered workshop.
